Assisted swimming at Kenl Inn was recommended by our Vet, following surgery on our
dog's rear leg. He was unable to bear weight on his leg and could not walk properly.
He would hop. He would refuse to walk any further than he had to, inspite of much
encouragement and coaxing. His spirit had been crushed.

Our first several sessions of Assisted Swimming were about trial and error. Our swim
"coach" was then able to decide how best she could rehabilitate our dog. She went
through the steps she felt would be beneficial. Building our dog's trust was first.
That happened very quickly. She would talk to him and give him assurance of safety.
I must say, she won our trust also. She was so understanding and willing to talk tons
about everything and what to expect. We decided on how often and how long each swim session
would be. We discussed our dog's eating habits and how that would affect his outcome, and
what we neede to do to assist in his recovery at home. She was very thorough and answered
all of our questions.

Through the weeks, we watched our dog progress to become stronger, more confident, and
finally able to walk normally. He has so much energy and his spirit soars!

The Assisted Swim program is so amazing. It's all about caring for the pet and the family.
I am so happy we chose to use this program. Our dog's recovery was so amazing. I would
highly recommend this swim program.
